CAMINO REAL DOUBLE - February 21, 2026
Moved from President's Day weekend for 2026, due to conflict with Valentine's Day
The last few years Camino has been brevet-style with one aid station on the way out and the same one on the way back.
For 2026 we're adding two aid stations; one early and one late.
Roving SAG is a challenge for this event due to use of bike paths and I-5 from Pendleton to Oceanside.
Private SAG allowed and encouraged, so long as drivers "register" with Planet Ultra via email prior to the ride.

HEMET D.C. - April 18, 2026
Now in its 62nd year we look forward to hosting you at the Hemet Double Century.
The ride is comprised of 2 loops with a total of 207 miles and 6600 feet of climbing.
After completing the first loop, we have a buffet lunch awaiting you.
The course is basically the same as in previous years with the notable exception of Rest Stop 5. The Realty Store has been replaced by "Enchanted D8yz," a marijuana dispensary. They are delighted to host us but please don’t sample their products. The CTC has informed me we may have random drug testing at the finish line.

ALTA ALPINA 8 PASS CHALLENGE - June 27, 2026
The Alta Alpina 8 Pass Challenge is the world’s toughest double century making the 8 Pass Finisher jersey one of the ultimate trophies for endurance cyclists.
This tour of Alta Alpina'’s 8 favorite passes involves climbing 20300 feet with most of the terrain at an altitude over 7000 feet. As a bonus, you'll enjoy the breathtaking scenic beauty of 8 ecologically diverse, wild sierra climbs (and descents) plus panoramas of Diamond Valley and Carson Valley in a remote and rugged area. There are no traffic lights and just a dozen stop signs.
You’ll have up to 19 hours and 30 minutes depending on your selected start time.
Not sure if you’ll be ready for the 8 Pass Challenge this year? Consider riding five, six, or seven passes this year to familiarize yourself with the terrain and scope of the ride.
The start/finish is at Turtle Rock Park which is about a 2 hour drive from Sacramento, 3:30 from San Jose, and 6 hours from Los Angeles.
